A little about us:
Hey there! Our names are Shelby and Elijah, and we’re from the Snoqualmie Valley in Washington, a beautiful little community near the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, so naturally we’re mountain people at heart.
We’re a team of portrait + wedding photographers based in Kent, Washington. We have a couple of adorable fur babies, one geriatric pup named Belle, and one energizer bunny named Leo. When we’re not shooting photos, we’re most likely hiking/exploring or sipping on iced coffee binge-watching Netflix. I’m (Shelby) also currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Central Washington University (go Wildcats!).
A little about what we do + how we got here:
I first discovered photography in high school, so about six years ago. Fun fact: I was actually taking a film and video class when I discovered my passion for photos! I started shooting high school seniors at first, and have progressively found a passion in working with couples. For this reason, I specialize in engagements, elopements, and weddings.
My husband Eli joined me on this journey in 2021. He has a passion for people and connecting with everyone finding at least SOMETHING in common with everyone he connects with. Eli will be specializing in elopements as a second shooter, sports photography, and also just being the best photography partner in every aspect.
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the best fit photographer for everyone. But I’m a believer in real people, real moments, and real love. So if you’re a little goofy like me, and crave those special, in-between moments that you might not even know exist, I’m your girl! My goal is to capture who you are to your core and make it a blast. I also believe in genuinely connecting with everyone I work with, so yes- I’m definitely going to need a tissue during your vows and your first dance.
